Bromar has a proven track record for saving projects in distress. This has often manifested through a client engaging Bromar mid-way through critical project whereby an existing contractor has either been unable or unwilling to achieve the required outcome. With a strong depth of knowledge, experience and capability- Bromar has proven repeatedly it can rapidly engineer the result.
Bromar's History
Bromar is an Electrical Contracting company that started trading in 1983. Andrew Brock and Russell Martyn started the business to service their primary clients in the food and beverage industry.
They both grew the business and throughout the years tackled complex electrical solutions throughout Australia. Bromar developed a name of quality and results in the manufacturing sector.
In 2008 Tim Purdy joined the company and quickly showed his ability to deliver Client/Results Based solutions to Major Infrastructure Projects throughout the South East Region of Australia. Tim specialises in compliance and innovative electrical solutions, being able to work with regulations and codes of compliance Tim has been able to think on his feet to deliver tight timelines and production schedules.
2012 John Henshall re-joined Bromar to take up the role of Operations/Superintendent of Bromar’s major project work. John’s tenacity and strong work ethic means he is always on the ball with our projects and clients needs to deliver the desired outcomes within budget and timeline. John has successfully delivered major infrastructure projects with several of the Tier 1 Builders and Alliances.
In 2019 John and Tim bought Andrew Brock out and took over ownership of Bromar. From here John and Tim have continued to build the capability of Bromar. Bromar has adapted and over come all the challengers that 2020/21, and is prepared to keep moving well into the future.

OHS Management ISO 45001
Bromar works to ensure the protection of its most valuable assets, its staff members that make up the Bromar family. For this end, Bromar has been certified to ISO 45001 to ensure we have the OH&S Management System in place to encourage a safe culture and have effective implementation of policies and objectives. Bromar has a reputation as a safe and reliable company with a strong commitment to continuously improving our safety performance.
Quality Management ISO 9001
Being strongly customer focused, Bromar has been certified to ISO 9001:2016 for our quality management systems. This is the demonstration of our commitment to meeting regulatory requirements as well as to the continuous improvement to the services and systems we have and provide to our clients.

Bromar is an environmentally aware company that strives to minimize our environmental impact. To this end, Bromar has been certified to ISO 14001:2016, having implemented the Environmental Management System that is applied to the works we undertake.
